Who We Are?
Power Grid Technical Services (PGTS), based in Hubli, Karnataka, was founded in 2019 by Mr. P. Srinavaslu, a retired Assistant Executive Engineer from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. With over 25 years of experience in the erection, testing, commissioning, and repair of power transformers up to 500 MVA, he built PGTS on a foundation of technical expertise and a passion for innovation.
Our Story
During his service at KPTCL, Mr. Srinavaslu experienced the limitations of conventional transformer drying methods — long durations, high energy consumption, and unsatisfactory results. Driven to find a better solution, he studied advanced international practices and developed India’s first Smart Drying System using Low Frequency Heating (LFH).
This breakthrough technology proved to deliver faster, more efficient, and more reliable drying, setting PGTS apart in the power sector.
